Nimer Saad Ghazal, the esteemed founder, and Chairman of the Board, has a remarkable journey that led to the establishment of Ghazal Group. Coming from a hardworking middle-class Saudi family, Ghazal’s early years were marked by his dedication to supporting his family. At the age of twelve, he started working full-time for a local contractor, TCC Technical Construction Co. In 1964, he began his career at Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia.

Driven by the value of education, Ghazal pursued his studies alongside his work commitments. He completed his primary school education in 1961, followed by intermediate school in 1964 and high school in 1967. Saving diligently, he managed to accumulate $5,000, which allowed him to pursue higher education in Miami, Florida, in 1969. During his time in the United States, Ghazal balanced work and studies, highlighting his determination and resilience.

As a result of his hard work, Ghazal achieved notable degrees and certificates, including a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Florida International University in 1975. Additionally, he obtained an associate degree in science in flight pilot from Miami Dade Community College in 1972 and acquired a Commercial Pilot license from the FAA with single and multiple-engine ratings in 1969.Returning to Saudi Arabia in 1975, Ghazal rejoined Saudi Aramco as an engineer, where he dedicated close to twenty-eight years of his career. His expertise spanned various areas, including engineering design, project management, material procurement, and construction of buildings, roads, and aviation facilities. He also gained experience in power distribution systems, water injection, cooling water return, industrial wastewater treatment processes, and sewage treatment plants during Ras Tanura refinery upgrade projects. Due to his extensive knowledge and achievements, Ghazal was honored with the title of Senior Consultant Engineer by the Saudi Council of Engineers.Presently, Ghazal serves as the founder, owner, and CEO of Ghazal Group, which encompasses a diverse range of ventures in Saudi Arabia and beyond. Notably, he owned and operated the first hypermarket in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and has successfully established and managed numerous businesses, including business centers, housing compounds, construction and maintenance projects, consultancy engineering offices, agricultural enterprises, and more. Nimer Saad Ghazal’s entrepreneurial spirit, combined with his extensive experience and diverse business portfolio, has propelled Ghazal Group to new heights. Under his leadership, the company continues to innovate and thrive, contributing to the growth and development of various sectors in Saudi Arabia and around the world.
